Digital Literacy Programme: Building a Future-Ready Generation

Marking a new milestone in its educational mission, Yayasan JCorp, in collaboration with the Johor State Education Department (JPNJ) and AFFIN Group, has introduced the Digital Literacy Programme, a new initiative launched on 27 October 2025 at SK Sayong Pinang, Kulai, to bridge the digital divide and empower rural students from B40 families.

The launch was officiated by YB Tuan Aznan Tamin, Chairman of the Johor State Education and Information Committee. Also present were Puan Zaidatul Zurita Abdul Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan JCorp, Encik Zulkurnain Abdul Rahman, Deputy Director of the Learning Sector, Johor State Education Department, and Puan Jozaimah Johan Ali, Managing Director of Strategy and Operations, AFFIN Group.

Through this initiative, three selected schools, namely SK Sikijang, SK Belokok, and SK Sayong Pinang, which is an Orang Asli community school, received 20 laptops and an interactive smartboard each. These tools create a more engaging and inclusive learning experience for students and teachers alike, fostering digital readiness in underserved communities.

With the theme “Building a Future-Ready Generation,” the programme also introduces a digital literacy module developed with JPNJ to help rural students master essential 21st-century technology skills and adapt to the demands of the digital era.

Yayasan JCorp extends its heartfelt appreciation to AFFIN Group and JPNJ for their strong partnership and dedication in making this initiative a success. Our gratitude also goes to the schools and teachers for their unwavering effort and commitment in enhancing digital learning opportunities for rural students. Their dedication continues to inspire and uplift the next generation of learners, driving Johor toward a more connected and future-ready society.
