Rimba X Fest is organised by Coaction Events Sdn Bhd, with the support of Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP) and venue partner Sireh Park. It’s designed to bring together adventurers, families, culture lovers, and weekend wanderers in an energetic and welcoming setting. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a refreshing weekend with the family, Rimba X Fest promises something for everyone.
At the heart of the festival is Rimba X Trail, a scenic trail run featuring both 5KM and 10KM categories. Runners in the 10KM race will compete for cash prizes, while 5KM participants will enjoy a chance to win through a lucky draw.
For the fitness-focused, the Rimba X Challenge offers a high-intensity, individual showdown across four elimination rounds. With up to RM10,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, it’s a test of speed, endurance, strength, and sheer willpower for those ready to rise to the challenge.
Beyond the action, Rimba X Fest offers something for everyone. Take part in the Rimba Cook Off, explore the lively Bazar Hutan, or enjoy FamFun activities like kayaking, survival workshops, and nature games for all ages. The festival also comes alive with live music, cultural dance performances, street buskers, and a dazzling fire show to end the night on a high.
“Rimba X Fest is our way of celebrating the outdoors and everything it offers,” said David Bareng, Chief Executive of Coaction Events. “We wanted to create a space where people can move, explore, learn, and simply enjoy being outside together. It’s a community celebration as much as it is an adventure. We’re especially proud to bring this kind of experience to Johor Bahru, where we believe it can grow into something truly iconic.”
Entry to Rimba X Fest is free, with some activities requiring registration or participation fees. Visitors are encouraged to come early, stay all day, and soak in everything, from the trails to the cooking pits to the culture performances.
The festival is strongly supported by Iskandar Puteri City Council as part of its commitment to building a vibrant, active, and people-focused city.
